Stitcher – Mom to five, grandma to four, wife of one, retired per social security records, owner of 14 sewing machines, two sergers, one shortarm, one longarm, a stash of fabric that would make any quilter/seamstress proud, the start of a nice collection of Superior thread, 100+ needles, straight pins so thin they are nearly impossible to see, and two rooms of the house devoted completely to my passion!
Those are just a few of the things that identify me. I also volunteer for the best Girl Scout day camp in Pierce County, coordinate a super group of individuals to sew hours for charity, and work as a FLOCKer at a goat farm during birthing season, all while juggling life with two teenagers still at home – a 19 year old daughter trying to decide what she wants to be when she grows up, and a 16 year old who has a couple more years of high school before making her decisions about the future. I don’t know the definition of boring or dull!
I do know I am grateful for family, friends, and all the goodness my life brings me!
