Each year I do volunteer work affiliated with Sewing with Stitcher. It is a good feeling knowing my skill can help things happen for others. I thought I would share some volunteering I have done over the past 14 years.
Girl Scout Camp
During each of those years, I volunteered at a Girl Scout weeklong camp in several positions, but always making the flags for each unit to decorate according to the theme of the camp. It was at this camp I became Stitcher and I laugh when remembering some of the girls didn’t know I had another name.
