Skateboard Quilt

A girlie skateboard quilt was such fun to make.  I know skateboarding is not as popular as it was years back. The electric motor has taken over foot power. Regardless, I could not resist making this quilt designed by Jenny Doan of Missouri Star Quilt Company in Hamilton, Missouri a few years ago. Lately, I’ve been thinking about making another.

Because the pictured skateboard quilt is not for sale, I am open to special orders. The process of special order is easy. Email me at stitcher@sewingwithstitcher.com. Tell me the quilt you are interested in special ordering. Include the approximate size desired and if there is a date you must have it by. I will get back to you within 24 hours with a price breakdown and how a special order is processed. From there, we work out the final details and I will get your order on the schedule. I will send you snapshots of the fabrics chosen and the progress along the way if you desire.

If you want to check out a vast selection of fabrics from your most comfortable chair, check out MSQs website www.missouriquiltco.com. If you decide to special order a skateboard quilt from me, look at layer cakes (quilt term for 10″ squares all cut from a collection of fabrics designed to go together). A layer cake will give you a delightful selection of fabrics you can count on playing nice together for this quilt. Or, if you prefer, I will choose fabric based on your shared ideas. I do love to shop for fabric!
