Two more quilt tops have been added to the list of those needing quilted. Actually, these went on the design wall back in September! I just found the post in the draft folder. Guess what? They are still on the design wall with another pinned over them. The top one is half quilted, so it will get on the quilt frame first. More time for me to decide on quilting motifs for these two.
The purple on the left is a mystery quilt from 2013. It may even be the second one I made from the pattern. Will go through my photos of quilts from back then and see what I can determine. Trying to decide if I want to quilt this one to death or just do an edge to edge and get it finished!
The one to the right and below is made with the butterfly blocks I embroidered when I wasn’t real mobile. I love how it turned out with the floral sashes and inner border. The outer border is navy blue with tiny white dots. Haven’t a clue how I will quilt it other than stitch in the ditch. Might put wavy lines in the white backgrounds for movement, or mix it up with swirls and maybe pebbles.
Quilting isn’t going to happen for at least a couple months. I don’t think I will stay up tonight planning quilting motifs!
