This quilt pattern goes by many names, but when I looked at it I saw Pinwheels Dancing! It is an intriguing pattern of many shapes besides pinwheels. Do you see the canoes of light yellow and light green? The back and binding are bright yellow with small orange sprinkled throughout. This 34″ square quilt would be fun for a baby starting tummy time with large areas of bright colors to study. Placed on a table held down by a vase of flowers continuing the cheery mood of the fabric would be beautiful. Made of cotton fabric and cotton batting, I used variegated thread on top and a yellow-orange thread on the back to do meandering edge to edge quilting.
