Hard to believe, but my oldest Grand is done with high school and on his way to college in just a few weeks! The University of the Ozarks in Arkansas are looking forward to him playing baseball with them; he is looking forward to living in a dorm; my daughter is not sure about the 5 hour drive that will separate them, but is happy for him.
I’m lucky I got to be in Texas for the graduation ceremony and hand him the quilt I made in his college colors. He is not much for outwardly showing emotion, but a saw a tear in his eye when he read the label I put on the quilt and he slept with the quilt every night I was there. This Grandma is elated he loves the quilt!
