En Provence Part #1

Part One Arrived

Part One of the Bonnie Hunter’s Mystery Quilt En Provence has arrived!  The fun begins as we pull from our collection of fabrics chosen for this mystery.  We’re starting with our neutral fabrics, making four-patch squares that will measure exactly 3 1/2″.  Accurate cuts and 1/4″ seams are key to a well-fitting pieced quilt.  Bonnie teaches techniques to save time and increase accuracy.  When you are making 221 of these blocks, you appreciate what she shares!

Sharing Progress

I will be sharing my progress (photos) with you, but I’m not sure how quickly that will be.  I am having eye surgery on the 30th (sunburn area on the eyeball removed and white part of eye taken from under the eye lid will be grafted on where sunburn was) and I’m uncertain how long I will be out of the sewing room.  You can be sure I’ll be there as soon as I feel up to it!
