Before I start sewing and quilting, I wanted to share the beautiful snow outside my window. We got snow early in the week, 4″ that melted a bit, but last night added to it while I slept. Hubs measured it to be 7″ when he ventured out this morning. Apparently the school district is taking a snow day as I see the little boy on the next farm playing with his dog in the snow! Many of the kids who attend schools in our district live in the higher elevations going up to Mt. Rainier, so the kids in the lowlands get days off if there is ice or snow that make it too dangerous for the buses to do the mountain route. The last temp reading I saw was 26 degrees, so Baby, it’s cold out there!
