There was lots of activity in February. It was not in the sewing room, unfortunately.
Girl Scout Camp Oh Ah Lay Lay
Girl Scout camp again consumed much of the month with registration opening on the first. It is always nice to reconnect with parents of girls who return year after year. Being one of few camps to let the older girls come as campers, each year our Older Girl roster fills quickly.
Business Taxes
I had been negligent keeping my business accounting books up to date. Done first was the annual filing and paying the B&O tax with the State of Washington. Next, I had to get numbers calculated and organized for filing Federal taxes. Income and expenses are what the IRS is interested in knowing.
Unwanted Covid Activity in Our Home
My fully vaccinated 25-year-old daughter tested positive mid-February for Covid. The household quarantined for five days and had no symptoms. Our tests were negative. She will be returning to work after 10 days off.
More Activity in March Plans
March will be more organized as I knock out my “to do” list. Writing this post is the first thing that will be marked off and already it feels like I’ve got a grip on moving forward.
I am trying to schedule longer time slots in the sewing room this month to work on the valances. I’m anxious to have them finished for my patient brother and sister-in-law. Plus, I want to show you the end results!
Plus, I will pray this month will see an end to the war in Ukraine and the suffering of innocent people and soldiers. This is Putin’s War. Putin is devoid of compassion for human life and lying does not faze him. I pray this war opens the eyes to reality for many Americans who have refused to see what is obvious.
Added StitcherMade Items on Etsy
Tomorrow I will be adding some new items to my StitcherMadeShop on Etsy. Drop by and browse. If you see something you would like for yourself or as a gift, remember I have a one-of-a-kind type of shop.
